In June 2016, a 23-year-old man walked off the boardwalk at Yellowstone’s Norris Geyser Basin and fell into a hot spring. The water was approximately 93 degrees Celsius and highly acidic. Recovery teams returned the next morning to find no remains. The signs were there. They are always there.
